How Does it work?
Using advanced Video Motion Detection, any movement seen by your new personal security patrol can automatically trigger a chain of events (all selectable by you)
such as recording images to your hard disk, instantly notifying you by
email, uploading event images to your own website, switching on security
lights (X10) and informing you remotely using Patrol Viewer etc.
The built-in Remote Telemetry Control facility lets
you control motorised cameras with Pan, Tilt & Zoom (P.T.Z.)... including
the professional installed Dome style cameras.
Complete with X10 Home Automation interface you can now switch
on and off lights or close and open blinds or curtains - in fact just
about any X10 compatible device.
How Can I View and Control 'Vision Patrol'?
- Vision Patrol can be controlled straight at your
desktop with its built-in user friendly controls and video screen.
- Vision Patrol has a built-in Web Server - You can
remotely view and control direct from any web browser across a Local
Area Network (LAN) or the internet.
- Vision Patrol has an advanced Video Streaming
Engine for remote control and Live viewing with Patrol Viewer Pro or
Patrol Quad Viewer.
- You can view alarm images which have been uploaded
to your own website just by surfing the web in the normal way.

What do I need for 'Vision Patrol' to work?
Vision Patrol will work on just about any Pentium
Class 300Mhz specification PC or faster with
Windows XP,2000,98 & Me installed.
You will need a Webcam or a Video Capture Card and Camera.
Vision Patrol is
compatible with just about all video for windows (vfw) camera devices.
To view live images remotely you will need a network connection or
an internet connection - dial-up connections will work but the best
connection method is using an always on connection such as broadband
ADSL, ISDN or Local Area Network (LAN).
To use home automation facilities you will need an X10 compatible
PC interface such as a CM11 / CM12 or CM17.
